Immediately thereafter, he returned to his hometown and began practicing law as a sole practitioner before joining his friend, David W. Swanson, in the firm of Swanson and Bevevino. He remained with the firm – now Swanson, Bevevino and Sharp– ever since and retired as senior partner in 2021.
